The UK is at the forefront of the development, adoption and export of Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) technologies. If we are going to maintain that world-leading position we need to continue to spearhead research and innovation in ORE.
Below are links to documents, presentations and papers that have been published during the current phase of the Supergen ORE Hub. These links will continue to be updated on a regular basis as further outputs are released.
The Supergen ORE Hub is supporting fundamental and applied research to advance the ORE sector by awarding funds to UK universities through its Flexible Funding scheme, and to date has awarded £2.2m
The Supergen ORE Hub Research Landscape is an interactive web-based landscape tool which will bring together and help communicate UK based offshore wind, wave and tidal energy research.
Testing facilities for offshore wind, wave and tidal technologies are fundamental in advancing research in offshore renewable energy (ORE). As a central point for the offshore renewable energy community, the Supergen ORE Hub has created an interactive map of facilities based in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland which can be used for testing in ORE academic and industrial research.
A place to share, collaborate on, discuss and promote ORE research, get access to funding for ECRs, network at ECR Forum events and virtually through our online forum and contribute to the shape and running of the network.
