This proposal outlines a proof-of-concept project targeting the development of wave energy converters (WEC) by leveraging origami-inspired adaptations. Building upon the ongoing Flexwave project, the proposed project aims to enrich current research by considering diverse deployable structure designs capable of accommodating cutting-edge power take-off (PTO) strategies, including dielectric elastomer generators (DEG) and dielectric fluid generators (DFG).
