About this event
This is the fourth call for proposals from the new Supergen ORE Hub Flexible Fund. We are seeking research proposals from universities or other institutions eligible to hold UKRI awards to facilitate a programme of coordinated UK led Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) research projects aligned with, and in partnership with the Hub. As part of the Flexible Funding call we are running a brokerage event to bring together Academic and Industry partners in order to broker collaborations and develop high quality submissions to the funding call. You will be able to hear more details about the funding call, including the requirements of our co-funders, Wave Energy Scotland and the ORE Catapult Floating Offshore Wind Centre of Excellence. You will also be able to post your research ideas and requirements to other delegates, through our online event platform 'SpotMe', which will be accessible after the event to continue discussions to broker collaborations.
A full agenda will be circulated in due course, including a link to the SpotMe platform which will enable you to input information to other delegates about collaborations you would like to establish.
Additional partner support
In this call for Flexible Funding proposals, we have additional match funding available from the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult Floating Offshore Wind Centre of Excellence (FoW CoE) and Wave Energy Scotland (WES). Successful proposals within these schemes will directly address key research priorities as set out by the FoW CoE and WES.
