In August 2024 the Supergen ORE Hub had the incredible opportunity to be a part of the Green Man Festival in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. Known for its vibrant blend of music, arts, and science, Green Man was the perfect setting for engaging with festival-goers about the future of offshore renewable energy. Our stall, located in the popular Einstein’s Garden area (a science engagement area of the festival), attracted curious minds of all ages.
The festival’s eclectic mix of music, science, and art created the perfect backdrop for lively discussions about offshore renewable energy. We were thrilled to see so many people engaged and eager to learn about how offshore renewable energy is shaping the future. Conversations ranged from the basics of how wind, wave and tidal power work, to more in-depth discussions about policy, technology, and the challenges of scaling up renewable infrastructure.
